The room was comfortable and clean. I slept really well! as only there one night - arrived around 9 pm and gone by 8 am. The room was expensive, though a good value by DC standards. I had an appointment in the morning in DuPont Circle and the walk was easy and close enough. I took an uber from the airport to the hotel, as I am not familiar with the layout of DC and I was traveling alone. If I were traveling with someone else, I think it would have been fairly straightforward to get from the airport to the hotel.

The room we had was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. Even though the floors were mostly hard wood, we were given very comfortable slippers to walk on them. We were there for three nights, and on one day our room was not serviced: however, when we brought this to the attention of the person at the front desk, they were willing to deduct the daily amenities fee from our final bill. The minibar fridge had lots of extra room to store my iced tea and a bottle of wine.

The rooms were very soundproof—I’m sensitive to noise and in hotels normally the walls are super thin, but the rooms at the Line were extremely quiet and I couldn’t hear any of my neighbors! My room was also very spacious even as I booked the cheapest available. Bartender was very kind and knowledgeable about cocktails—highly recommend trying the cocktails they are delicious!

When we checked in we discovered that the door lock wasn't working, but a service technician arrived immediately after we reported the issue and quickly fixed it. Lots of great options for dining and drinks in the area, well served by bus and nearby metro, and walkable to the zoo. I would definitely stay here again!
